My 90 Syncro is getting the fuel tank resealed and a new sending unit, the old pigtail to the sender was so corroded. I scoured the local junkyards to see if any of the old VW cars out there had a similar connector, but no luck.

Does anyone know a source for a new splice-in pigtail connector? or is there another alternative without having to resort to fabricating something (direct wiring)?

I believe the one on top of the brake master cylinder is the same.

I see another identical connector in the same area as the sending unit wiring. I might check into that connector above the MC. It would be easier to swap that one out after the tank is in...

Well, scratch the MC one... level sensor is there but no wiring going to it.

Pre-'90 coolant level sensor
Post-'86 PCV heater
Any Syncro locking diff sensing switch
Some reverse light switches
