I have just traded for some barndoor front brake drums, I have stripped them down to clean up and repaint.
But before I go any further I just want to confirm the front drums are correct for barndoor bus. they are part no. 211 405 615 A
The backing plates look correct, although I cannot see a 22 on the cylinder. It has 4x bolts securing it to backing plate.
Please see pics, any info will be very much appreciated. They are German FAG 22505 on rubber seal
Also what would be the part no. for mid 53 spindles?

So I believe the drum is a later early bus drum 211 405 615 A.
Barndoor drum should be 29 415 29 2 or 3
Looks like the later drum and og barndoor backing plate worked as a combo.
Anyone else run this combo?
Any info on the cylinders?

Hi mike
I dont see why it wouldnt work i run 55-63 front brakes on mine i have just re drilled the back plate all the bearings etc fit, the later bd spindle outter is the same dimensions as 55-63
