So my 4 year old and I took off on Saturday to go camping with some work buddies at the base of Red Cone and Webster pass. We cruzed up and went looking for our party.......which we never found (we did run into some other people we new thou) but had a blast still!
Headed up CO285 in our 87' Syncro with a possible locker, light hasn't been working!
It was insane up there, cool streams and pools. We even found a little spring by the road.
I think we threw two hundred plus rocks into the stream, ponds and puddles!
Made it to the top! It was fairly mellow with the exception of a shelf section where if my wife was with us would have had a heart attack while killing me. The syncro did great! We stayed in low the whole way. It was hot and she stayed cool to totally impressed. The best part was when I met a jeep club coming down Webster, there were 9 in the group and half said I was nuts the other thought it was awesome!
If you get the chance I recomend it! We dropped down the back side and came out at Keystone Ski Resort. We completely by chance bumped into some other work friends and crashed their campsite. My boy had an absolute blast and can't wait to go back! |

| on 285. I was heading in to Denver, probably 40 miles out of town. Noted the multicolor Syncro and pointed it out to my riding companion. |
