Cleaning up shop and trying to make room for other things! I am tossing lots and lots and lots of 1.8t parts. If you need something 1.8t and I have it, I'll probably give it away some MK4 stuff and B5 Passat too! a few complete engines! I will not ship! Things are going in the dumpster very soon! |
FREE! early style 1.8t, it's going to the scrapper soon! |

I have a serviceable pair of plastic coolant pipes off an '87 2.1 here in San Diego; I just replaced them with a stainless-steel set. If anyone's interested, they're yours if you come and get them. _________________ John G. - 1987 Westy 2.1 5-Speed |

I Recently converted the spare tire clamshell to the Go Westy storage container (spare mounted in the back).
I have a 15 spare tire with a lot of tread and rubber in good condition. Never been in the sun. I'm willing to pass it along!
Pick up in the North Bay Area.

I just replaced my Upper Control Arms on my van and before I run them over to the scrap yard, I'll offer them up here for free. Just pay the shipping or come grab them. _________________ '90 White Westy ("The Longship")

I'm in UT and have the following, happy to give out as a gesture of gratitude for all the great advice I've gotten here on the samba:
- 2 perfectly good (basically brand new) BLAU caps for the pressurized tank which I don't need since I installed a metal tank
- 4 tires and 14 inch original rims (the tires are crap but the rims are good)
- a faded square headlight grille with working headlights (the headlights are a bit cracked)
If anyone is interested in these items PM me. _________________ 1990 Multivan "Sacagawea" [Burgundy]

Used Bosch SR0408X starter - you can use it with this WestyVentures adapter plate.
Bench tests good, but the solenoid is intermittently sticking and needs a tap. You'll probably want to rebuild the solenoid before installing, but other than that it was working fine.
Can deliver along the 101 corridor between Mendocino County and SF if you're willing to wait, or ship at your expense. Happy starting! |
