I was fixing a turn signal tonight and had the key and headlights on for about 20 min (Not running points so I wasn't too worried about it). When I got a the turn signal fixed I saw my headlights were out. I started the bus and the lights came back on. Did VW have a sensor or something that turned the headlights off when the drain became too much for the battery to start the car? Its a 71 bus. _________________ 83 Beetle "Maria"

Only once the ignition switch has worn enough to break contact when it warms up, sounds like it's time for a new switch. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.
