It seems to me that there is a nice empty space inside this armrest, if I could get inside. Has anyone done anything or have any ideas for what it could be used for? Speaker, map pocket? Has anyone hinged the top? I like the stock look with a new purpose, I am thinking if it flipped open and had a little stash and cup holder it would be cool.

somewhere out there floating around is a 64 1500S notchback, white, with a sunroof, title says its a 63 (even though it's numbers matching, I'm guessing tax implications and bringing a used car over to the US)
On the drivers side, under the upholstry panel, A big cut out. I'm guessing to hide drugs. So you're not the first to recognize this empty space... _________________ Stop dead photo links! Post your photos to The Samba Gallery! |
