That's a deluxe interior. But if ordered with fire red outside, the deluxe tan interior would look better than the standard's soft green interior. |

Yes, it has an all original deluxe interior. Sorry. The headliner was replaced with a wooden one. |

I will not touch the interior but I might give it a respray. The bumpers-taillights-decklid-mirrors are not original. |

Are the 2 camper windows a hack of the original windows sections or can you re-install normal windows easily? |

I traded an aircooled Vanagon Westy for it. This car has been in Berkeley since it was new. The orginal owner was a Vanagon customer of mine and when I gave her a ride home she said " There is my old 57. We bought it brand new and my family grew up in it and drove it to New York and back a few times. Then I sold it in the eighty's to this couple". Now I got it from "that couple". Helen has since pasted away so I can not ask her more questions about it. Maybe her kids will have some old pictures. |

I checked this bus out at BOR, and it is awesome. it is the first firetruck red standard that I have ever seen. ( have only seen one other special paint pressed bumper standard, and it was a postal yellow '57)
the rear seat is cool because it has the metal strip on top instead of a jailbar like you usually see on a brown flatback seat. _________________ A repair manual and a part list can be very helpful when working on bus.
If you can't afford a nice bus, you really can't afford a crappy bus. |

Saw the bus too, but didn't look close enough to trip on it. I would have flipped out too. Negative on the re-spray, positive on the Easy Off |
