What is the exact size of the tail light openings? Did [could] panels have white steering wheels or were they only available in black? Does the '56-'58 engine lid fit the later '59-'67 rear apron? Would a bus made in october of 1958 automatically [manditory] have been registerd as a '59?

A lot of states registered vehicles by year of sale, not year of manufacture, so a 58 bus sold in 58 may very well be registered as a 58... and a leftover, not sold until 59, would be a 59.

Yes, n the engine lid, but only 59-63, all Church key years

No on the registration, although it is a '59
