62 Turkis Kombi Riviera Camper new project

Recently picked up this nice OG Camper project. She has the original Turkis paint which buffed out nicely, 71,383 original miles since she was parked in 1976. Has M-code plate UA (Los Angeles) delivery. Has only one option "374" 6 popout windows which is not very common for a kombi. Running 1600/dp and I also have the rebuilt original 6 volt 1200/40hp turnkey engine. Unfortunately missing all the camper interior Crying or Very sad

made it hard to ID. It has sundial awning/tent mounts on roof, holes on bumpers for poles, snaps on each side of bottom rocker panel under the cargo doors for the skirt. Most of the wood paneling is nice, but some panels are falling apart so I have to re-make them using the old ones as templates. There is pink insulation thru out and is one of the earliest Riviera. I know of a '63 kombi based riviera from searching threads and viewing the pics of us built campers on here. roof panels and trims used look the same as Rivieras. Rear dome light is round and mfg by Dietz USA Syracuse NY (well known mfg of oil lanterns). Has some of the original linoleum flooring which I will save and restore. Thanks for all the good vibes and likes! Used TR-3 or Nu-finish wax, then I lightly polished and buffed with an el-cheapo 10" polishing/buffing wheel. remember this is 53 year old paint you're trying to restore so don't use too much wax or too much pressure. let the wheel work it's magic. Do dampen pad with water first.
