Checked all the local Auto Parts stores. No luck there. The staff has no clue about GL-4 only GL-5. The only GL-4 I can find is Red Line MT-90 / 75W-90 on Amazon. OReilly's can get can get as well. Is this a suitable gear oil for a recently rebuilt swing axle trans? If not, recommendations please.

Have run the redline for decades in VW trannies.

A lot of conventional GL 4 on Amazon...

Try NAPA Auto Parts in Hiltonhead, (843) 689-6272.

I buy it locally here in Oregon at NAPA.
