Hello,
I'm looking for the correct sizes of a bamboo parcel tray. One of my friend sent me a picture and some of the sizes, but It would be nice if I had more of them.
Can somebody measure more sizes for me? I would like to make a tray for myself from willow wicker.
Thanks in advance,
Ákos |

That photo looks like it is of an original VW accessory metal frame with vinyl webbing parcel shelf. I think the Bambus versions were a little different. But if you want more info on the vinyl-over-metal tray, I have one, and can take measurements and photos wherever you ask, if you think it would help you any.

Thanks, it is mean my picture has the correct numbers.
eg. 43" ~ 110cm
So I have almost all of the necessary sizes, I hope I'll can figure out the missing ones(curves ang height).
Thanks again, I am still looking for any other measures for the more accurate result.

| You could make a cardboard template first. That way you can fine tune the overall shape before you commit. |

| Yeah I agree, a template might be good for you here. There were a lot of different shapes of accessory trays and it's kind of up to you what you want, and how you want to go about with the mounting system. I mean, I was going to take my old metal/vinyl tray out but then I forgot I had a gauge firmly attached to it and the wiring as well, and didn't really feel like having to re-do all of that. messing with that. But there's plenty of photos out there. You've got some dimensions - you could go to the classified ads and the Gallery for photo examples, copy them and enlarge then apply the dimensions you have to some of those pictures to make yourself a template. |

| Use a wire coat hanger to make the curve/bend it along the wheelwell. Place that onto your template, and simply turn it 180 degrees ("mirror image") to get the curve for the other side's wheelwell. |
