How does one go about putting a value or price tag on these? Does having a matching set add more value to them? _________________ '10 Audi A4 Avant Premium Plus S-Line w/ 19"sport pkg |

| check the classifieds and set your price to fair market value or put them on auction and let a buyer decide. |

It really depends on the state of issue, too. _________________

I've seen 20-200 bucks here in ohio. Older usually means more cash. I lucked out and my neighbor had a set of 73 plates to give me. They may not be important to others but they're priceless to me. 50 bucks got me registered for fifty years as an occasional use historical vehicle. _________________ One day as a lion, or a lifetime as lamb

I've got a pair of Utah 1957 plates. Pretty good shape overall, some patina. I've checked locally and can't seem to find enough info to price them accordingly...last thing I want is to give them away for next to nothing. _________________ '10 Audi A4 Avant Premium Plus S-Line w/ 19"sport pkg |

Seller licensepl8s has a bunch of Utah plates. Nothing over $40, going back earlier than yours.
The most expensive '57 plate on eBay in the last 90 days sold for a whopping $12.27. _________________

A pair will always bring more money (because there's two )
Low numbers, specialty plates (truck, commercial, etc.), numbers w/ significance to the year / history of the vehicle and - of course - condition will bring more. _________________ '69 SingleCab

Cool, that's what I figured--pairs bring in more.
I looked around some more, '57 is a popular year with American cars. Found a site and saw some restored '57 Utah plates for $150.
I think I've got a good number in mind, thanks all for the help. _________________ '10 Audi A4 Avant Premium Plus S-Line w/ 19"sport pkg |
