Hi guys, what's your guess on this seat's year. I would say 74? I am trying to find a cover and would need to know the year.

The front pic is not enough. Need to see the back and top. AFAIK, 1973 was first year for headrest option, so look for black plugs along top edged.

Those are cool seats, much rarer than the splitty bus version of the same. Be worth a few thousand soon no doubt. Cool Cool

Looks early Baywinow, verify vinyl weave pattern and year your green vinyl was offered.

Given the lack of headrest mounts, and the round knob for the tilting seat back, the seat in the photo is 1968-1972. In '73, headrests were introduced, and the tilt release knob is more squarish.

There may be other features (e.g. original upholstery pattern) to more closely distinguish the particular years, but these are not apparent in the photos.

This one I have in the classified is a '68-'72 variety and has pretty good photos, if that helps:

Agreed, without seeing another few photos of Aurel's actual seat we are all just guessing, they all look nearly the same to the untrained eye. Unfortunately his pic at the top is taken from the most ambiguous angle possible making precise dating impossible.
