| I just talked to Gerson this week and happened to ask about them. He said that he has a bunch of bay truck rear end stuff that will be going into R&D and to expect them soon. I didnt ask him to elaborate on "soon", I'm just happy ther are coming. I think however, there is a UK company making some bay truck stuff. I gotta check my bookmarks. |

i got mine a few months ago from schofield. it wasn't cheap, but fit 100% perfect. the only thing i did to it was run a bead of weld on the captive nut for the battery hold down.

| Thanks for the correction. I used to be a nice guy, then I ruined it by exposing myself to the public. |

And one idea if you are short of funds and have a gaping hole in the tray that the battery is starting to fall through. Take a sheet of 3/4" exterior or marine ply, cut to size, paint it well, and use some carriage bolts to bolt it to what ever parts of the metal tray you have left. This can work good and last a long time. _________________ Larry in OB

I can attest to this. My old westy had this done to it when i got it and I had it 12 years. Held fine, didn't leak and it never was rusted enough to see the seam on the outside! |
