Found this spice rack at Ikea and fits perfect on the door under the sink
even the colour matches.

I made and installed a knife rack in that same location. I should post a pic later on since it's the best mod I've done to my camper so far. I took two thin bamboo cutting boards, cut dados into one peice to fit the knife blades, then glues the halves together, and screwed in place on the door. It works really well and keeps sharp things from moving around while I'm driving.

Knife block for me, too. Others have installed magnetic holders for the knives. We actually keep spices overhead in what is generally called the "spice rack" in a Westy but which officially called a "curtain tray."

Humm...

So if you are a user of medical marijuana maybe you could cut a hole in the floor, hide a little floor safe down there and put in a 'spice rack' inside the safe.

Just Joking!

No, put in your favourites

I like the idea of a knife rack as well, may have to change things a tad

Knife rack, good idea, especially if you are posting to this thread:

No need. I figure I'll add a couple of Dead stickers and they'll leave me alone.

LOL, the one thing I feel I paid WAAAY too much for on my Westy is the "Play Dead" sticker. I'm embarassed to say how much so I won't. But here's a few pictures of my knife rack and my "spice bandolier".

The spice holder is sewn with 2-inch elastic webbing with a pocket at one end for whatever bendable metal you want to slide in there. I used an old hose clamp, cut off the screw, and sewed the pocket shut. The bottles are plastic food grade things from REI. I like it because it fits in any nook or cranny in the van and you can hang it from the curtain rail/shelf for super easy access when you're cooking.

Ever since I put the fridge door on the rear cabinet I've wanted to install a spice rack/shelf along the line of rhino designs but inset just behind the useless door and with more space. Had some time to finish and install today. I may remove and relocate the door/hinges permanently but will leave it on for now, extra protection from flying objects when driving. Pretty straightforward, shelves are repurposed from the rear heater cover I removed, brown bungee cord to hold things in place, and color-matched paint on the rest (which has held up surprisingly well on my fridge door).

Thought about the Rhino Design spice rack, but this is just freaking brilliant and an even better idea!! Would love to see pics of the inside and how you mounted shelves on the inside.

And you should definitely keep the door to protect against those unwanted flying projectiles!!

NICE WORK!!!
