I am wondering if there are any companies making engine breast tin (I think that is what it's called... the tin near the crank pulley) that does not have any fresh air and heater air hose holes in it? Or do people just fabricate their own by filling the holes when not running heaters?
Thanks, Gordo. |

I plugged mine with 2 round aluminum pieces cut with a hole saw that I just happened to have. Brass machine screw through the middle to a 1" wide piece of aluminum under. A good piece without the holes would look better though. Awesome Powdercoating might have it.

I did something like the above poster, I made the under piece just wide enough so I can slip the assembly in/out without tools. Holds its place just fine. (I only run the hoses in winter).[img]

| If you purchase one Gordo, be sure and also get the pulley tin from the same manufacturer otherwise you will have issues matching up the screw holes. |

Thanks guys. I didn't want to plug the holes as I am looking for a very clean look. I also wanted the heat risers blocked too.
Glen's looks nice and clean, that's the look I am after as well as keeping the cold side cold.
I have done a little more looking around and found the scat one and the Empi one (probably made by same people) are cheap enough and most likely what I need.
Thanks again, Gordo. |
