I have a 71 fastback I am trying to get started.I have converted it from a fulie to carbs Now for the question I have three wires I don't know where they go there is a solid red,a solid blue and a solid black wire where do they go? the black I am pretty sure it goes to the coil but is it + or -

Solid black- + side of coil
Solid blue- Oil sending unit on oil cooler
Solid red- to FI auxiliary air regulator ONLY IF the car is an Automatic. Since your car is now carbs, just tape the end of it up really good.
