My old mirror on my 56 is shot needed resilvered so I ordered a new mirror and visor and the visor won’t stay up in position. There’s a slight groove in the shaft. I’m wondering is there supposed to be some sort of tiny little O-ring or something in there? I have an original visor, but it’s cracked And I’m trying to get it off the old shaft just in case.. But I don’t see any other option for replacing that mirror other than that a new one. Thanks for any help.
