Just picked up this 64 and I am over the moon to have the opportunity to be the caretaker of a split window once again.
The engine number is F0287768 and I am being a complete moron looking at the engine codes.
Is this a 1300 from 66 or am I reading the codes wrong?
Any help would be much appreciated!!

Not so good news from Maui coming up these days. Hope you're fine!

This is a type 1 1300 engine from Sep 65 according to the technical section here.

Thanks Tizian!

I needed that confirmation!

As to Maui, we live on the East side so all is well over here. Unfortunately, there is not a person that we know that has not been effected in some way by the fire. Many friends lost everything.

Aloha lightspeed, I’m in Haiku with my ‘63 single cab. Check out Valley isle v-dubz on FB for events. Large group of VW fans here on Maui.
