I took my manifold off to clean the heat risers, only to find a hole, and another hole in between the heat risers and intake manifold that is nigh impossible to fix...

Since the hear risers are pretty blocked, I gots holes, I figures I might as well find a new one/better one.

The part number is 113 129 701 A.A19

Those last four digits are whats confusing me. What does A.A19 signify, I found an A.A.20 on the classifieds here

http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1150175

But it has some thing attached to the intake, while mine is blocked off...what is that? And what should I be looking for?

It's a H block engine, with I think 34mm Heads.

Attached gizmo is a retrofit EGR valve, best removed and hole plugged (weld it up, don't plug it with a bolt or you will impede the heat riser flow).
