|
|
We just purchased a 1995 Eurovan/Winnebago. I replaced the water pump so we now have running water to the hand shower and sink. However, the operation of the pump seems odd:
1. We can turn on the sink using the faucet handle, regardless of whether the water pump switch is on or not. This is great for kitchen use.
2. The only way we can get the hand shower to work is to turn on the water pump switch....which also turns on the kitchen sink. i.e. ANY time the hand shower is working, the sink is also running....
is this how it was originally configured? Any thoughts? We could put a manual valve under the sink to stop water to the sink while using the hand shower, but this doesn't seem very elegant....
Thanks!

my neighbor has the same van. we flushed the fresh and holding tanks yesterday. im not sure how the sink would operate without the pump perhaps gravity feed. regardless the kitchen sink faucet has a manual valve. i just leave this closed unless im using the sink. that way when you use the rear shower/water pump water doesnt come out of the sink. _________________ Reference Automotive: NW Washingtons Vanagon Specialist.
