I am looking for the widest 15" tires that will fit on my 70 Ghia that is stock height.

I'm thinking of 195/55/15's, will they work for me?

Yes, but you'll likely need slightly wider wheels than the stock 15 x 4.5" wheels to accommodate that tire, such as a 15 x 5" or 15 x 5.5".

EhOs, what wheels do you have on the car?

Depending upon rim and offset, you can make 205/55x15 work.

If the car has been wrecked in the past, rear quarters worked, all bets are off.

They're the stockers, but I've been able to stretch 195's on the 4.5's before so that's not what I'm worried about.

Just going to try it and see!
