Has anyone had any bad experiences with the modern Solexes? Throttle shaft wear or other quality issues? I am debating whether to go Solex or the Weber ICT. I have run the baby Webers in the past and know that their shafts wear out fairly quickly, but what about the Solexes? Also, I see that CB has 34 Solexes and scat has 35 and 40 Solexes. Personally I would rather run a set of weber 44s (I have a set), but because of height limitations (T4 in Squareback), I am stuck with running two singles. Even the Kads are too tall to fit.

you need some custom shorty manifold, for the idf's , i'm sure some one made some, maybe a pic will show up.
