What kind of sheet metal screw is supposed to hold down the overhead cover for the fresh air vent. Is it a Philips head or slotted and is it a pan head?

Thanks

Hold on there, don't use sheet metal screws. Shocked

Its a phillips head screw and threaded. Something tells me 4mm threads.

Please view the pic I compiled below for a visual. Hope this helps.

4 X .70 thread pitch. they are Phillips head! the correct headed screws are available, but they don't have the pointy tips like the originals (but you don't see the tips anyway).
i would **strongly** recommend running a tap through the holes before re-installing screws.
let me know if you can't find screws, i have plenty of new ones. (i'll be going to jerome so get a hold of me next week)

I know, I know, old post... But I was wondering if these screws on the vent are the same as what holds the door panels on? The PO has some crap screws and I'm not sure what the original should be...

no. vent screws are a machine screw in the aforementioned size, panel screws are a tapping screw.
