I am new to posting on here though I have learned a lot by reading what all you experts have said on various topics. I finally got my dream car, a 1971 SB with a sunroof...hence the problem. I was told when I bought it that it didn't leak...well...it does. The car was rebuilt from the ground up before I bought it. It isn't leaking through the rear drain tubes but from the front ones...I have tried to clean them out and can only get about halfway down the side window. I had B&C Auto in Freeberg Missouri take a look and they said there is no outlet for the drain tubes. I would like to re-route them to drain out the wheel well or someplace but can't get past that point. Any suggestions on what to do? Is there an exterior seal that would work even if the drain tubes as don't? It really limits when I can drive her...not that I would drive her in the rain anyway but I can't even take a chance if I got caught in a storm. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Confused Thanks

Are you talking about running the drain tube down through the windshield pillar?
I used plastic tubing I bought from Home Depot. It is pretty stiff.
1/2”???? Can’t remember.
I took metal coat hanger and slipped it up through the pillar. I then sprayed the tubing with lithium grease and drilled a small hole about 1” from the end of the plastic tube. Then made a “hook” in the coat hanger and hooked it through the plastic tubing to PULL it through the pillar. Worked like a charm.
To connect the hose to the drain “nipple” in the sunroof I used a propane torch to heat the end of the hose up and slipped it on the nipple. It cooled off and stuck on it great.
Very happy with my results.
This is the back but you get the idea....

I used some stiff water line that I got at home depot then attached some brass fittings at the end terminating them in the front wheel well for the front and then the hose through the rear out the bottom . never could figure out why they terminated them originally in the front and rear quarter panels that was the source of much of the rust you may be getting hung up in the rear pillars on the death foam that is in the pillar may have to poke a hole through that foam. I removed as much as possible t o remove the potential of moisture retention.
