Found this on Craigs and I'm contemplating on if I should tackle the
project or not..I'm not familiar with the hightops and though it looks great in pics..the Owner had fiberglassed the front floor pan due to rust. non runner but asking $1200. It's a bench seat too. I ran the Mcode and seems like it was a military vehicle or something. here's a couple of pics.
anyone know this bus? what do you guys think?
THanks.

I bought a 72 Adventure Camper for 1800 over the Holidays with an Engine and Transmission.
What does the rest of it look like? Mine was mostly unmolested and just missing the Fridge\Stove furniture. She has a 78 engine in her and runs well after 1700 worth of work\replacement parts.
Hope this helps. I would love to see more pictures if you got any. |

Looks like a good bus for the price. Wrong tires but that is common. More pics needed _________________ 1966 Velvet Green Standard |

| Interior needs lots of work. If paints in good shape and windows up top are not rotten i would say ya. I wouldnt pay more than 900$ |

Looks like you've seen this bus..I know what you mean, I agree $900 should take her. The owner is in mid restoration and it's gutted right now. The engine is there but looks like needs a rebuilt. It's a great candidate, but I'm going to pass on it. I have a family of 4 and really wanting a 74-75 westy. I'll keep looking I guess. anybody interested in this bus just let me know..I'll give the contact info.
I'll post more pics later.
Cheers and thanks again gents.

| Ya i would not call mid restoration.. I would say he thought it would be an easy swap for the interior from an 84 westy and he hit a few bumps and doesnt have knowledge to continue project... I wanted for a subaru swap but he wont flex on price and wanted me to make a non running trade run for his basketcase... Lol. Body looks good and i like the front emblem:) but interior is in a crisis. |

Thanks for the heads up;) I told him I'll pass on it. I rather see the rust on the floor pan and the rest of what's left original interior intact than gutted out with lots of fiberglassing. Any hoo...still looking for the right one.
I found my camper last yr but ran into trouble on the tittle. so I sold it after all the hard paper works I've done;(
here she was.
Cheers,
