I know this has probably been covered in another post but I've had tremendous problems getting the rear brakes back together because the springs hook into the back of the plate.
One fella told me to put it together and put it in that way but I'm damned if I can get the springs back in.
They're under tension and are small.
Some step by step pics would be great. Neutral

I didn't take pics but I just did one yesterday.

I put the shoe with the e-brake lever on firts and attach the top spring. I then do the bottom spring. I just use a pair of GOOD need nose pliers to strech the spring. Old springs are easy to put on, the new WW springs take some umphhh to get on.

I then install the e-brake spreader bar and and the other shoe and proceed in the same fashion, top spring then bottom.

Many flying springs , takes some effort

I use a hook tool to get the springs into place.

When fitting the shoes, I sometimes leave them out of the adjusters. After the springs are in place, then I use a screw driver to put the top of the shoes into the adjuster stars.
Hold screwdriver vertical, rest the tip against the seal holder, pull shoe away from center rotate shoe slightly towards backing plate, drop shoe into adjuster.

Thanks for all the tips, lads.
I'll try the long nose pliers first as I have a pair and go from there.

I also used needle nose pliers with the shoes mostly set, then used a screw driver to pry them back and into the stat adjusters... Watch out for what direction your fingers are pointed for when the needle nose slips off though!

Needle nose vise grips would be handy here... To bad I forgot I had them in my toolbag till after I was done... <facepalm>
