Umm… the Japanese drive on the opposite side of the road, these lights would focus the upper 15° rise into the eyes of oncoming traffic as opposed to the roadside like it’s supposed to. The pattern on the lens “reflects” this. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

That's a valid concern, but not correct in this case. Although these are made in Japan, they're designed for LHD markets: https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/rhd-equivalent-for-81110-60p70-head-light-kit.1307976/
My pattern angles up on the right hand side. I'll take a photo and post it up. |

Hi all!
I also purchased the Toyota headlights mentioned above (super cheap!), and they arrived pretty quickly, within a week I think? They look like a quality product, so I'm excited to see how they look on my Ghia. Kit looks like it contains pretty much everything you might need, but we'll see.
Once the Ghia is out of storage and they are installed I will try to remember to do a review.
Have fun everyone! _________________ Why is the rum gone?!
