Anyone notice that the bid is up to 15K?
Aren't you legally bound somehow to what you bid on ebay?

If this thing goes for that price my old Honda is getting a dual wooden fish tail...

The dude got $10,600 for the POS.
It shows that creative advertising works!
And the winning bidder has a lot of positive feedback, seems like a real sale.

Laughing Laughing Laughing
Nothing better than a full out belly laugh for lunch Exclamation

Reminds me of the last time our club went to "Battle of the Imports". When a bug does an apron scraping wheel stand against a front wheel drive and your comment is "try to do THAT with your rice burner!" you get some looks that could kill Evil or Very Mad Razz

What the **ck was this guy on!?!?! He must have driven this thing through the central valley, stopped off in Bakersfield, and loaded the trunk with Crystal Meth! What an ass! I bet this guy has about three teeth he shares with his entire family. He should be shot dead on the spot just for owning a Honda. He should be buried alive in that automotive monstrosity.

I have seen this car in person, it's at a local auto-brokers. It was a joke, of course. The guys that started the business are young and just wanted to get their name out there, and it worked.

The car really is a big POS, and the owner knows it. I'm sure they did all the work themselves. They do, however, have decent prices on used cars, and are very honest about the cars condition. They have a website, and take multiple pictures, even of the bad spots. I think they'll do well.

Their 'lot' is a 40,000 square foot warehouse, in an industrial district. Low overhead, cars stay clean. I suspect they will get most of their business from Auto-Trader Online, E-Bay, internet. Their warehouse is not visible from the street.
