No it helps but think about it. Someone's gonna have to put some money into it to get it going and without a full resto the ceiling is 5-6 grandish. So they pay you a 2k then put another 2+ grand into it to sell it for 4500 the numbers don't add up.

At 750 I could get it running clean it up replace all the brakes etc have a cool driver and have a little profit to justify the work..

Also, another thing to point out, the front fenders are damaged and as you know, they are one year only. The reproductions have the holes in the wrong places. I once saw a matched original pair for 300.00 at a junkyard. Also, the rear bumper overriders may be wrong. I say "may" because early 67's have that style bumper but later ones have the slanted center overriders. There's a thread here that goes into detail about all of the one year only junk for 67's. It just makes it more expensive to restore a 67.

$100 max as it sits.

clean it up, fix a few things (brakes, fuel system, electrical gremlins etc), get it closer to being drivable and you could get closer to$700 - $1000 if you found the right buyer.

Thats a low ball. Tops would be 750-1500, it depends on the market in your area. My 67 was in about the same condition and I paid 900 for it, did some work to it and have been driving it every day after working on it. I say build it and enjoy it.

agree to disagree, but right now his pic makes it look like yard art....yard art aint worth a whole hellova lot.

I've paid $400, $800, $1000 and $2900 for 67 bugs, all were running drivable cars.

Wash it, scrub the hell out of it, vaccum the rat turds out of it, clean the points , gas tank, carb and replace the fuel lines and a filter. Put a battery on it and I bet it will run, providing its not locked up. then you can probably get 2 grand. Most bug buyers and owners try to buy cheap as possible. I personally have never paid more than $250 for a bug, running or otherwise. It's worth more than that, but an afternoon of cleaning will double or triple the value. Non runners are a big turnoff
