Won't start after ignition switch replacement

So, I recently replaced my ignition switch because I was having to really crank the key to get my 99 Eurovan to start. Now, when I turn the key, all electronics come on, but when I go all the way to start the van, all electricity dies.....Any ideas? This now occurs with the new switch and when I put the old one back in!!

Same problem here???? Did you figure out what was causing it?
