Does anyone know if there is a device I can attach to my air compressor & garden hose to power wash? I would think the power of the air connected to my garden hose would make a nice power washer and I don't have the time to design one especially if there is a product or plan already out there.

I'm guessing nobody has a solution?

No future in trying to outdo the hydraulic engineers in combining a water hose and a compressor! Laughing Just buy a water wand if you want to get wet/greasy? You probably need a soda/sand blaster which you already have! I just drape a thin hand towel over my head/neck and hold it on with the face shield strap. Long sleeve shirt & gloves. Blast some soda, walnut shells or whatever you bought.

So nothing out there? I need to clean some stuff before soda and didn't want to invest on a power washer or rent one. I keep thinking someone must have designed an attachment for their compressor.

You found the cheap high pressure washer, so post some before/after pics of how it and your soda/sand blaster work!

Mike after doing more research I was 100% wrong on that washer because they are 2 different types of power; air compressor =high volume, low pressure, pressure washer= low volume, high pressure. Glad I didn't buy it. Time to borrow or rent the power washer. And this one had all the fittings but glad I didn't buy any of them Wink

Great info please read:

Water pressure from a utility is generally around 70-80psi.
Typical air compressor pumps are high volume - low pressure design. Say 5CFM @ 100 PSI.
Typical pressure washer pumps are low volume - high pressure design. Say 0.25CFM @ 2000 PSI.
If you point a power washer into a bucket, it would fill very very slowly.
So there is no way to leverage an air compressor pump into a power washer. Except to drive a low volume-high pressure water pump via air drive.

We used to have a guy that used our hobby shop that owned one of those dang things.....he would make the most incredible messes with it...Funny thing we had a great pressure washer too, but he'd rather use his goofy solvent/watergun and spread his grime throughout the entire shop. He wore greasy white coveralls too, musta liked the greasy look on everything.
