Here is a cool deluxe I wanted to share with all of you. This is a very solid and pretty straight bus. My plans for it are a little off from what I would normally do with one of my splits. This one is staying as stock as possible when I purchased it it had all original interior panels, seats, date coded wheels, bumpers, all of its trim inside and out and just about anything else you can think of. So with all of that I plan to preserve as much of its originality as I can or within reason. So at this point the bus is dissembled aside from the running gear as I still drive it around town Very Happy Now I have a good assessment of what needs to be done and let me tell yeah its not much this thing is crazy solid and in very good condition.

What I have completed so far........ I installed a completely new bone stock exhuast and rebuilt the carb did a tune up valve adjustment oil change on the 1600 dual port it has in it. Then I replaced the two outer edges of the front floor and a section of the cargo floor and outer rocker. Once I have finished the metal work I will repaint the front and rear floor in its original color then move to having the new headliner installed then reinstall the original interior panels windows ect ect. I also installed a set of Wolfgang safaris today Cool

Here are some pics......

X2 step up and get some originals ones for that bus. I remember taking out the original sundial kit and camper windows that was in that bus when first found.
Nice color match on the nose looking good.

Thanks guys Very Happy

Hey Lou I will trade you these safaris for a set of OG ones Laughing Again this bus is going to be preserved as best I can but there is a time line and dumping extra money towards a set of original safaris for this bus is not going to happen.
After all I have other project at home that need some loving to Very Happy

This bus is going to be sweet for sure I dropped off all the trim for straightening and polishing the wheels and bumpers are at the blasters and two large orders have come in from WW so big things should start happening here over the next couple of weeks.

Stay tuned......

Corey

Unless you're going to step up for originals, stick with the fixed screens.

Yeah..... I guess. To me having to have original safaris is about as necessary as having to have NOS out riggers and jack points its all personal preference.

No worries bro..... The title does say OG paint 21 its just doesn't specify how much of it is..... Laughing All joking aside here the nose was in primer when I got it and I did have to repaint it Sad

Lou knows this bus well as it was purchased from a mutual friend.
