Can anyone tell me how to brace the body to keep it from flexing or warping while driving after the roof is choped off?I plan on choping the roof off all but the windshield and choping the wind shield down.

basic thought would something along the lines of the convertible reinforcement rails. little pricey but they will give you support. You can make your own reinforcement rails out of sq or rectangle metal stock along the outer perimeter of the pan.
either take a look at vert rails or you can also look at Volksrod site. lot of roadsters being created on that site.
the roof line provides support and keeping the body from collapsing on itself. so with roof gone, you need to support the chassis. |
