This poor girl has been on the back burner for a LONG time. I brought her home as seen in the first pic, back in 99. The ONLY correct parts was the body and the front fenders and a hacked up W. It was on a 70 pan with a good 40hp that I ended up using in my 68 for several years. Over the years I have found all of the correct era parts. All of my suspension parts, gas tank, pan and engine tin have been powder coated. I have a beautifully restored Big M radio from a guy here on TheSamba and my steering wheel is at Koch's now. I am taking the body and exterior pieces to get media blasted after new years and immediately to my buddies paint and body shop in the northside of Ft Worth. I'm excited to FINALLY have the time and money to get this girl moving forward! I'm very much a purist when it comes to these vintage cars and it should be a fun project to finish.

I never saw it, if it was. I found it in the Ft. Worth Star Telegram in 99 |

I bought 10 bags of crushed glass blasting media today. Im going to blast my fenders, doors, hood and decklid this weekend and take them to my paint/body guy to spray master series and prime and start working them and I will do the body as soon as he is ready! FINALLY!!!! |

Careful, I use crushed glass in my blast cabinet ... it is super aggressive. I would be scared to use it on sheet metal, you might want to try it on a junk panel first. |
