Hi there. Another convertible question.

All the defrost hoses were either disconnected or shot in my latest acquisition and I am slowly replacing them.

I am having a terrible time replacing the defrost hoses from the heater channel up to the splitter. I can't get my hands down in there because the convertible has all that extra buttressing.

And when I pulled back the carpet, there isn't that little hole at the bottom of the "A" pillar to get into to help get it in place.

How does one go about replacing this hose? Is there a secret I don't know about?

Thanks

You could always cut a hole there. My 74 has about a 2" square hole there and it's real simple then to attach that hose. Also gives access if you drop anything down there. Carpet covers it up so you won't see the hole.
