Alot of kits and dune buggies uses windshields off of other cars. With a little searching I found this but the writer is uncertain if what he heard was 100% correct:
uses MGB headlight assy. and a Renault Dauphine windshield with custom aluminum posts

Or you can find a GOOD custom glass maker and they can make a mold and make you a new one. Most places won't do this, you'll need to search high and low for the right shop and will cost you an arm and a leg even if you already have a mold making custom windshields.
Or use an entirely different windshield and fit it with some modifications. |

I know this is an old post but I have some good info on this. I just bought a Deserter gt its a licsensed clone of the Bounty Hunter that was made in Mass. and have been trying to find a windshield also! So heres what I found...it is a Renault Dauphine windshield code#fcw30try a boneyard or (dig this) call Lois @Lo-Can glass in Woburn Mass. @1-800-345-9595 there are a lot of Deserter GT's around here and evidently Lo-Can glass is trying to make up an order for spring '03. Ijust found this tonite the co. is closed but I got an answering machine so the phone # is good.I will be calling tomorrow Good luck Bill
