1969 beetle. The horn is suppose to be mounted under the left front fender, but where? To the bumper mounts or where? Thanks for your time

Of course, if I was askin' that question, I'd check under both fenders. Just to be sure and because you never know what a PO might've done with it!

Anyone has a pic just like the above but for an an early 60's setup? Preferably close to 1961. I have no bracket there or any sign that a horn was ever mounted there. Got me thinking maybe the horn was on bumper? Don't think so cause I believe that setup was only on very early 50's models.

Early 60s? There was a bracket welded to the body just behind where the horn grille is on the driver side.

From a thread where we talked about adding a horn relay to early 60s Beetles, a couple of photos were posted where you can see this bracket.
