Hey All,
The Red Barn VW Swap is confirmed again for 2013!!!
(Thanks Richard!!)
Come on out and bring your VW parts to sell.
SATURDAY, April 20th, 2013
(The day before the Kelley Park Spring Meet)
8am-1pm
at the Red Barn in Aromas, CA - Right off Highway 101
1000 Highway 101
Aromas, CA 95004
40 miles south of San Jose
10 miles north of Salinas
CAMPING: Come out Friday night and camp over night.
This is a great casual event to swap stories and buy parts!
As with the past years, all admissions fees are collected and set by Red Barn management. But prices expected to be the same as last year-
$10 to camp and swap
$3 for entrance/parking
ALSO, we need to be off the lot at 2pm so they can start their set-up for their regular Sunday flea market.
DRIVING NOTE:
Access to the Red Barn is only from NORTHBOUND 101.
For those of you coming down South on HWY 101 (from San Jose), you can't make that dangerous left turn across the highway to get into the Red Barn. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND, that you drive a few more miles south to San Miguel Canyon Road to SAFELY get back on HWY 101 NORTH. You can then access the entrance to the Red Barn. This is the safest way to get to the show and we want you to all get there in one piece.
SEE YOU AT THE RED BARN!! |

Drove by the Red Barn today, they're still doing construction in that area and seen some tractors tearing out the area where the port-a-pottys usually sit and that front gate area where the buses enter.
Hopefully the work they're doing will be low-friendly for those lowered/slammed rides. _________________ Jim Kikuchi

Check! Dr. Pete, save one (or two) for me please!
Us Samba-nistas ought to wear Samba avatar name badges or something, I'm sure I'm always walkin' past someone I don't physically recognize but have probably talked with on here, and have always wanted to meet.

Looks like temps in Mid 70's during the day and about 50 at night for the Red Barn! _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.
