Anyone following or attending F1 in Austin this weekend? Since I can't be there with some of my extended family attending I'll prep with Netflix series F1 Drive To Survive and the movie F1 on Prime.

ABC will broadcast the race on Sunday.

Have you considered simply starting with a nicer bus? I don't know what your skills are, but the race is easier if you can see the finish line. If you are not a runner, don't start off doing a marathon.

I swear I look for races like this to bring my two boys but never find anything until its already over. 100% operator error but I'm still going to gripe dangit.

Anyway, from what I'm seeing is tickets are sold out?

Attending an F1 Event is a spectacle.
I've been to two F1 Events, once in Long Beach in 1982 and the second at Indy in 2004.
Both events were a blast with all the color and pageantry that goes with F1 Racing just makes for good memories.

It's hard to follow your favorite driver due to the car not having clear numbers on the bodies.
Meatball numbers would be a refreshing addition to help the spectator identify the cars if, you don't know what to look for on the car to tell who's driving what on each two car team.
Plus drivers switch helmets depending on the event. So, even looking at the helmets makes it hard to identify who's driving each team car.

Ferrari looked pretty competitive in practice and qualifying yesterday.
I'd really like to see Louis Hamilton make it back the podium before this F1 season ends.

Pez, COTA has many events scheduled throughout the year. Just go to their website and pick one that fits your budget and schedule. I'm sure that there is a race there that suites you families needs.

I subscribe to F1TV and watch every race. I've been following off and on my whole life.
Two years ago for my 50th I was able to take a bucket list trip and go to the Italian Grand Prix at Monza! It's one of the cheapest races you can attend and there is some pretty good bleacher seats in the General Admission areas if you're early and quick!

Been watching every single raceon tv since early 90's, this weekend is no exception Laughing
