I was attempting to clean up my wiring in the engine compartment. When hooking back up the AC hot to the coil. I inadvertently hooked it up to the "neg" side of the coil, and tried to start it. Switched it back and now it will not start...... Did I cook my electronic dizzy?

| Sadly, that's how it's done. Sensitive little buggers when it comes to the pluses and minuses. |

That sucks. I had just gotten it running and drove it for the first time since 2009. Word of advice... Don't be conversing with the wife and drinking beer when hooking up electrical stuff.... |

I would remove the fuel filter from the engine compartment before you have even bigger problems. _________________ ----------------------

Looks lie the vacuum canister is connected to the intake manifold. No harm since that distributor will not work correctly with the carb (H30/31PICT).
Also the serp belt might look good, but it can over accelerate the fan and cause it to come part. That should not be a problem with a stock engine but just don't miss a shift. _________________ Glenn
