windows wont roll up or down

okay i have a 1957 vw bug and when i got it the passenger window would roll up and down but not the driver. and then after a couple of times rolling up and down it stoped and woouldent work. the handels just spin freely. does any one know what wrong?

It's easier to buy a new one, depending on the availability. You'll have to take off the inner door handle, window handle and door panel. Then unbolt the window regulator and rip it out
