Hi, I restore my car, and now I found my split have wrong door handles left and right, is not flat handle and not L part number, so not ok

I have a lock cylinder from a bus handle, I would like to understand if this lock cylinder will fit to an L part number split handle? Rolling Eyes

If this cylinder is ok to use, I pretend to install it to a split correct door driver side handle, between this "salad" I have my original keys from the past, the last owner was keeping them all together.

The key is Y104, and this key is opening the hood L handle.

So I have the key and a lock cylinder bus pre55, is possible to install this lock cylinder to a flat handle split and using this key (Y104)?

I attach pictures. Thanks in advance.

Your cylinder has 6 tumblers, split cylinder only 4, so maybe it's too long.

Hi, many thanks for the reply! Wink

humm I didnt know that detail, I have a friend who told me it fits there and the size is 3cm, he even took his split cylinder lock out to confirm Confused ... maybe it fits but if the split is 4 tumblers and this is 6 then as we see is not ok anyway.

... Always learning. Again thanks.

Hi again, now YES Smile finally I got a split door driver handle Smile they are not perfect but for me they are great.

I was reading previous posts and most of the situations you have the lock but u dont have a key.

My situation is inverse, I have the L handle decklid with the key code Y104, the door handles were changed in time, so i found a split pair handles that i plan to use it it has 4 waffers but is necessary to make it work. The lock have a Z marked i dont know what it means. The handles are huf with L number.

There is a way to do this at home or is better to take a house locksmith with the key and the cylinder to match it with the key? is this possible? what should i do now?
