So I’m stuck and looking for some help I just installed a new wiring kit for my buggy. I’m getting power at the key to turn the starter but the wire that runs from the starter to the voltage regulator also has power. The line running out from the voltage regulator is hot but the end of wire has no power. I thought I might have a bad wire but I tested with a new wire and same issue. Any thoughts or thing to check? _________________ 1962 OG PEARL WHITE RAG TOP BUG |

I don't have a wire from the key switch to the voltage regulator. I have one that goes to the starter though. What wiring diagram did you use? FWIW, I have a 68 with a 2 wire alternator. _________________

That makes no sense IF you have 12 volt at one end and all the wire and terminals are good, I don't see how it can happen..... What is the "dead" end of wire connected to? _________________ “Fear The Government That Wants To Take Your Guns"
