Wiring Question on my 70 Ghia at ignition switch plug

OK -- I'm having real issues with the ignition switch (keeps locking the steering wheel at the most unopportune times) and have decided to disable/by-pass the steering lock and switch....(Its my semi-race car guys)

Today I popped off the plug on the back of the switch and it has 5 wires --

(30) Red = is the main power into switch
(50) Red/blk = to starter
(15) Blk = to fuse block
(S) brn/blk = to door switches

and now the mystery wire -- it labeled on the plug as X and it is Black/Yellow -- it isn't listed in the wiring diagrams and I would kind of like to know where it disappears to in the loom... Any Ideas??????

My new panel isn't getting here until Tues/Wed and I was doing some prelimiary look seeing to figure out how to do the wiring and this has got me vexed...

OK -- another dumb-ass questions while I'm at it -- what do the number mean/signify on the diagrams???

the orange numbers show where they are on the test plug in the engine bay

also, from what i see on the diagrams the black and yellow wire on the ignition goes to the light switch. Look at E1, x black and yellow goes to H x black and yellow.
