Indonesian 1973 VW Beetle 1303

Hi guys, I just wanted to share my awesome ride that I owned even before I could even drive. I owned the car when I was in the 8th grade, my dads friend told my dad to pick up this particular beetle from his garage. because his garage is full, and he wanted to make a VW safari (VW Thing).

My dad brought home this nice orange beetle, and from that day onwards. my adventure begins.

At the local VW workshop, gettin' some new orange paint Very Happy

after it was done with the paint. (you'll notice the black box inside the baggage. it is the A/C, in my country an A/C is a must have feature on the car, because it is hot in here Confused )

a year later, I bought a decent steering wheel. the Nardi Torino ones Very Happy

As you all know, i'm still a teenager. so I got jealous on my friends cars, with their lowered suspension. so I lowered my suspension, and cut the front springs

Later onwards, I found out that my shock absorbers, were dead -,-"
so when I drove it (don't worry guys, I'm already 17 now hehehe) it got lower and eventually hit one of the speedbumps in my country.
