Hi Gang! I am having slider door hinge issues for my 1971 camper Bay.
My bearings fell out while closing and I have ordered a replacement hinge from www2.cip1.com $129
All seemed pretty good however when I received my new hinge, It does not close once installed and appears different that the one I took off where the cam and cam latches are.
I called www2.cip1.com and they said they would look at my pics and compare to the ones they have in stock. It took them 8 days to do so
They said they were all that way and that that was the proper year for my vehicle. They told me I could take it a part and try switching the pieces around (which I told them was a stupid idea)
I know every nut and bolt on my bus except the slider hinge. I tried looking up a description of variations in different years of bays and could not find anything.
Please help me figure this out. I am stumped for now.
I cant be the only one with this issue right?
Thanks in Advance! Gabriel

look on the bus c pillar for the latch seat- I had a night mare getting enough parts from 3 "used but good";- NOT- rollers I bought. Got one from 3 and boy did it roll good and latch open, but the latch closed would not work. Finally got a replacement but not installed yet due to having sold the greybus and now getting it ready for delivery in Oct. _________________ some days I get up and just sit and think. The hinge they sent you is a 281-843-336-A. That is for a late Bay Window.
IIRC the hinge changed 1974. So the late fits 74-79.
The hinge you need is 211 843 336 A for an Early Bay Window.
IIRC this hinge fits 1968-73
Good luck
