This topic sounds like a formula for a fun trip!! we plan on leaving 10/3 very early to beat the traffic over the bridges and get into Cleavland by the afternoon. In preparation for this trip. I picked up a Nikon 5200 with a Tamron 18-270 lens and a WU-A1 wireless adapter. I'll do my best with capturing this journey on FB and TS. we all know France and Vincent have set some high standards and we love them for it, this is our attempt...

John likes the fact that we have to go west to get to our beaches.

John/Keith,

We all look forward to following you on your 6200+ mile journey.

Please try to wear out the camera, and I hope you make every attempt to post about the 'adventure" on a daily basis.

Just worry about 2 things. Drive safely and have fun

We will see you in OBX on the 16th.

Joe

Ha Ha! Hope you guys have a wonderful safe trip.

well today day was a good start 435 miles later we're at my sisters place in Olmsted Falls Ohio. It started out a little cool and some fog. Keeping an eye out on the weather we knew we might have to install the side windows and we did here is a few pictures.

This was a multi use item it held 2 pairs of sunglasses, GPS, and a phone

We had a wheel out of balanced at about 65mph so we stopped by a local shop and rebalanced it and it feels much better at speed.

The blue tape was our start mileage we wanted to figure out our MPG and it's better then a post it note. We didn't trust our fuel gauge long story. We figured out we get 23MPG at 70 mph. Now what way do we go because our route is now in a tornado warning! Maybe I'll get some good pictures!
