Anybody know where these 2nd gear brake band O rings and the piston lip seals can be found? I'm still looking but no luck. Bad timing as I thought I already ordered these and the tranny's in the engine stand. Argh....

Pablum,

Thank you. Unfortunately none of the 4 seals are available there, either. And everything I click on is $1.97 so they must be having an issue. That's a really good price for a tranny cooler, though!! Heh... Anyone else?

Why not get a complete kit? Normally when you have to go into a transmission [or any other big job] with a lot of miles, your foolish not to do everything. Of course, there are exceptions to the rules.

Idaho..if thee tranny has been separated from the diff..you will want the big "O" ring and the paper gaskets. And it is a good time to replace the back to back seals with the "O" rings inside the seal housing.

The reason Witt show.97 cents on the cooler as there are none available..

I may have some of the second gear servo piston "O" rings and misc other "O" rings around..let me know if you want me to look and I will send them on to you.

Thanks, I've got the seals for the torque converter, the paper and large O ring seals, the governor seal, and the double seals on the shaft. Thought I'd ordered the brake band seals back in June, so kinda bummed to be hours from completion and discover I'm missing those 4 seals - two piston lips and two cover O rings.

So, that's what I'm looking for. Thanks, Atlas - will call AA in the morning and German as well. Was hoping to find a vendor I could order from online today (Labor Day) and then move on to other tasks. Will recontact if they are out, etc.

I gave you that one because I thought $99 for a reverse clutch piston was felonious. I got my stuff here:

They have all the gaskets and o-rings in their kits, as well. Just prepare for the shock.

Wow - no kidding. Reminds me of the Syncro front wheel bearing extra seal pricing - $45 for a thin rubber lip. Thanks for looking out for me! I'm sure the brake band piston seals are similarly dear in price....

Hey, I just realized I have a single O ring that is the correct size you posted above. Since I did not have 2 of them I assumed I had not ordered them. So, I also have a thicker grey O ring that is slightly larger in diameter as well. Are the both the same size, or could this be the two O ring parts I thought I ordered?

Sorry about the confusion on my part. It was 3 huge boxes of parts and I've winnowed it down to a couple dozen. Thanks.
