For anyone who missed the mailing, GoWesty announced a GPS-based speedo that's a one for one replacement for the original speedo. Issues with rim size, tire size, and even wonky cables go away for $100. The odometer can be set to the proper mileage (caveat about cheating on changing the odo assumed)
The one gotcha is the speedo doesn't supply speed to ScanGauge units (no speed or MPG data). An adapter is planned but not currently available. _________________ Lord, give me coffee to change the things I can change, and wine to accept the things I can't change. |

There was another thread about this already and, as discussed there...
It also does not work with 86-91 unless you also have the gowesty printed circuit board replacement for the blue foil.
